Apply to Augustana

The Augustana Office of Admissions evaluates your application using a holistic approach. Rather than focusing solely on numbers, we use all of the information in your application when assessing your fit with Augustana. Your academic fit is important to us, but co-curricular and social fit also play a large part in determining if we are a good match.

Your application is a way for us to get to know you, and to learn what makes you stand out among your peers. We are interested in your accomplishments in the classroom, in your community, on the playing field, or in an ensemble. We want to hear about your passions, and where you see yourself in the future.

As you begin the application process at Augustana, here are some general guidelines:

  • You can apply beginning July 1 prior to your senior year.
  • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in early November.
  • Though there is no application deadline, applicants prior to February 1 receive priority consideration.
  • Admitted students who intend to enroll at Augustana must submit a $350 non-refundable deposit by May 1 in order to reserve their place in the incoming class.
