Faculty Programs
The Center for Vocational Reflection assists Augustana's faculty in incorporating vocational reflection and service-learning into the academic curriculum. For the 2008-09 school year, the Center's staff will host workshops on Senior Inquiry, effective reflection practices, and service-learning. In years past, the Center ran the following programs: Center Fellows, Department Grants, and Course Grants. The links below house syllabi with vocational components.
The Center provided a special opportunity for faculty members who had a high level of interest in the subject of vocation and vocational reflection to take a very visible and highly engaged role in its programs.
Departmental course development/modification grants of up to $10,000 each were given to support the integration of vocation within the departmental agenda.
Course development grants of up to $750 each were provided to faculty members to support the integration of vocation and service-learning into courses.
