What did you do before Augustana? I have worked in Higher Education for the last 3 years, both at a proprietary school and for a small lutheran university in the Chicago area.
What do you most love to tell prospective students about Augustana? I love to tell prospective students about the Quad Cities and about the great opportunities you will encounter by having Faculty members who are active members of the community.
What's great about the Quad Cities? There are so many opportunities in the QCA. We have great fine arts, theatres, sporting events, festivals, and concerts. There are also really great restaurants!
Why did you decide to work in this field and/or at Augustana? I had a wonderful experience growing up in the Quad Cities. It's diverse and the community really supports the college. I hope to inspire prospective students and open their eyes to what a wonderful 4 years they will have living and being a part of Augustana and the Quad Cities.
What advice do you have for students who are searching for the right college for them? Visit, visit, visit! A college may have all the programs you are looking for but it's about the FEELING you get when you step foot on campus.
