Winter finally arrives

Augustana is a residential campus, so classes rarely are canceled. When there is a weather cancellation or a late start, a notification will appear on top of the Augustana homepage and an email will be sent to students. Students should check conditions before traveling off-campus or returning to campus from home. They also should contact their professors as soon as they know they will miss class and make arrangements to make up missed work.

Care packages are always appreciated

Care packages can make a student's day. Delivery dates for the rest of the year are Feb. 8, March 14, April 16 and May 7. Packages offered by the Augustana National Residence Hall Honorary may be ordered online; some of the proceeds go to benefit nearby Longfellow Elementary School. Or you could make your own: See tips from Admissions.

150+ ways to have fun and games at Augie

Augustana students have formed more than 150 clubs and organizations on campus, and they introduce new ones every year. Some groups have had a longstanding presence, such as the Student Government Association (SGA) and Greek life. Others may seem too esoteric to attract enough members to live on. And yet, sometimes the quirkiest groups take off and keep their momentum going for years. (more)

Checking Augie Hub for opportunities

Augie Hub helps students connect with jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Encourage your student to use Augie Hub and also to take advantage of related programs and workshops, such as Experience that Works: Internships next Monday and Business Day in April.
