Mike is a licensed clinical social worker.He has held the position of Director since 1996. Prior to his Augustana tenure, Mike worked in a variety of community social service agencies, including the Iowa Dept. of Human Services, Family Resources, and Vera French Mental Health Center. Mike's undergraduate degree is from Wartburg College, and his MSW degree is from the University of Iowa.

Deb's current stint at SCS began in 1996; she also served as its director from 1981-89 prior to establishing a private practice in Iowa. She lives in Davenport with husband Steve. They have three grown children. In addition to her job, Deb is active in local,state and national psychological associations. She is an Augustana Alumni and earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Wyoming.
