Internship: I am interning with the University of Sydney with the faculty in health sciences.
Why are you participating in the Augustana in Australia program? I am participating in the Augustana at Australia program to experience a different culture and to gain real experience through an internship at the same time.
What value do you hope to add back to the internship site? I have a lot of knowledge from the classes I have taken on disorders and disabilities and I work well with kids. I hope that I can help make a difference as I work with clients and assist with research.
What do you hope to learn on your internship? I hope to gain more knowledge about the disorders I work with and gain more skills that I can bring back home.
Where do you plan to travel during your term "down under"? I hope to travel to Melbourne, Cairns, and Brisbane; possibly more.
What do you anticipate to be the highlight of your experience "down under"? The opportunity to travel to Australia is the highlight in itself, but I am sure that traveling and the experience I gain from the internship will be highlights.
