Annual Crime/Fire Safety Report 2010
Introduction
Augustana college Publishes our annual crime and fire safety report in compliance with the Jeane Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crimes Statistics Act (Clery Act) and the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.
This report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes which have occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or properties owned or controlled by the college; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to the campus. The report also includes information of fire safety poliices and statistics, emergency notification procedures, along with additional information on other poliices and procedures related to campus life.
The information contained within this report is compiled from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, the Dean of Students office, the Residential Life office, the office of Atheletics, the offices of Student Activities and the Office of Public Safety. Information on issues involving criminal activity is routinely soliticted from the Rock Island Police Department.
