Beginning September 1, 2010, Eligible employees receive coverage through The Augustana College Health Plan. This plan is administered by Butler Benefits Service. Costs for the 2012-13 Academic Year is as follows:
Single Coverage: $65 per month
Employee +1: $450 per month
Family: $625 per month
Single Coverage: $400/month
Employee +1: $800/month
This per month cost is for full-time employees who are paid on a 12 month basis. Those employees who are paid on a 10-month basis will have slightly higher per month costs with the annual contribution remaining the same regardless of pay schedule.
Full-time employees are those employee regularly scheduled to work 40-hours per week on either a 9, 10, 11 or 12 month basis. Faculty members who teach 14 credit hours or more per year are considered full-time. New employees are eligible on the first of the month following their hire date.
