Scandinavian Club
The Scandinavian Club is a student/faculty organization that encourages the study of Scandinavian languages and culture. It celebrates and promotes awareness of Augustana’s Scandinavian heritage, in addition to the Scandinavian heritage and interests of Augustana’s students. Activities include a yearly visit to the 19th Century Swedish settlement in Bishop Hill, participation in the Midwest Scandinavian Retreat in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and numerous on-campus events.
