Plans after graduation
Traveling to Wuhan, China for a year in order to teach English at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law
How did Augustana prepare you for life after college?
During my four years at Augie, I learned a great deal about the world outside of the Augie bubble as a result of the relationships with my supervisor and co-workers in Dinning services and my professors. The knowledge they imparted to me allows me to say with confidence that I can handle the "real world".
What are you looking forward to about life after graduation?
Traveling to China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan.... basically world exploration.
What will you miss about Augustana?
The professors and friends that I bonded with, Swing club and the deciding factor in my decision to attend Augustana, the trees on campus.
What was your favorite memory from Augie?
There are so many, but working in the pottery studio and going on East Asian term are most often recalled in my thoughts.
What advice would you give to current students?
Double, triple and quadruple check everything regarding your schedule and major requirements. You do not want any surprises when it comes to credit overload or missing requirements.
