Plans after graduation
I plan on continuing my studies at the University of Denver, where I will enroll in a dual masters program of clinical social work and international studies with an emphasis on human rights.
How did Augustana prepare you for life after college?
Augustana gave me many different opportunities, both in and outside of the classroom.
What are you looking forward to about life after graduation?
I am looking forward to life after graduation because I will be able to build on the education that I received here at Augustana and go farther into the field.
What will you miss about Augustana?
The professors here are one of the things I think I'll miss the most about being a student here, being able to stop by a professor's office to talk not only about class but whatever is going on in my life has truly been invaluable.
What was your favorite memory from Augie?
My favorite memory while at Augustana is hard to narrow down, but I would have to say spending three months in Latin America with Augustana students and professors is the top of the list. I was able to do things I've never done - like climb Macchu Picchu and I was able to not only learn from the professors but also learn about them as well.
What advice would you give to current students?
My advice to current students is to take advantage of every opportunity possible but never forget to take time and treasure the small things.
