2009-2010 Season - Women's Track and Field moves to 18th
The Augustana Vikings have moved into 18 th place in the latest NCAA Division III women's track & field outdoor power rankings. Veteran head coach Fred Whiteside's team piled up 151.32 points in the most recent poll. Wisconsin-La Crosse now finds themselves with the number one ranked team in the nation with 182.63. The power ranking is sponsored by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) and it encompasses the top two performances by each team in every event.
The Vikings will travel to Monmouth, Illinois on May 1 to participate in the Monmouth Quadrangular before heading to Wheaton, Illinois to participate in the CCIW conference the following weekend.
