At Summer Connection and Transfer Connection, you'll meet an academic advisor, make friends with some of your fellow incoming students, and begin to get better acquainted with your new learning and living environment. At the end of the day, you'll feel more comfortable on campus and you'll be registered for your classes for the fall term!
Starting in mid-April, new students will begin receiving their Summer Connection and Transfer Connection packets from the Admissions Department. Please review the information carefully; it includes your student ID number which you will need to complete several of the steps below. Now you are ready to begin!
Before you can register for Summer Connection or Transfer Connection, you must complete step one below.
STEP ONE: Take your placement tests and complete a survey.
You must complete two placement tests and the Student Readiness Survey before registering for Summer Connection or Transfer Connection. STEP TWO: Watch for an email from us with a link to the Summer Connection or Transfer Connection registration web pages.
Within one week of completing STEP ONE, incoming students will receive an email from connection@augustana.edu with a link to register for Summer Connection or Transfer Connection.
STEP THREE: Register for Summer Connection or Transfer Connection.
Please register soon to reserve your spot at these events. After you've done so, you'll receive a confirmation email from connection@augustana.edu within one week.
STEP FOUR: Complete your Housing Preference form by June 1.

STEP FIVE: Submit final transcripts and other forms.
If you are a first-year student, be sure to ask your high school to send your complete transcript to Augustana (including the 2nd semester of your senior year). If you are not sure how to do this, talk to your high school guidance office or guidance counselor.
Transfer students, please request your final transcript from any college you previously attended.
All students need to submit an Immunization form and a Request for Special Accommodations form (if applicable). Click here to access and print these forms.
STEP SIX: Prepare to join your new community at Connection 2013!

Bring the following items to your Connection event:
- A photo ID.
- Your social security card or government-issued passport (this is for student employment purposes; click here for details)
- Your completed Immunization form if you did not already send it.
