Cadaver Dissection
Instructor: Dr. Bob TallitschDr. Bob Tallitsch Dr. Bob Tallitsch is a professor in the Biology Department at Augustana College. His specialization is Human Anatomy, Computer-Assisted Instruction, and Human Physiology. Dr. Tallitsch also serves as a faculty member in the Asian Studies program. He earned his B.A. in biology from North Central College, and his Ph.D. in physiology with an anatomy minor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He joined the Augustana faculty at the age of 24. |

Course description
During this program students will learn and reflect on the sacred gift of body donation. You will be introduced to proper dissection techniques and will also learn the superficial anatomy of the thoracic and abdominal cavities, the superficial and muscular anatomy of the arm and the thigh through dissection. You will learn about the donor and be able to answer questions about what you learned from the donor.

- Orientation of this morning's areas of dissection
- Dissection experience — Students will be asked to report on "homework" assignements related to lab

Friday, June 28
