It is two weeks into the 2010 indoor track & field season and the Augustana men’s team has moved into a lofty second place in the first dual meet ranking of the campaign. The power ranking is sponsored by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) and it encompasses the top two performances by each team in every event. The Vikings, under the direction of veteran head coach Paul Olsen, finished the 2009 indoor season ranked seventh in NCAA Division III.
