Augustana celebrates its sesquicentennial by driving for 150 new or accelerated planned gifts
"During this sesquicentennial anniversary year, we're proud to be a part of Augustana's 150 for the 150th program. Since we have no children of our own, the college seemed a logical place to leave part of our estate. This is one way we could ensure that students will continue to benefit from our gifts. In addition to an unrestricted will provision, we are also considering a retained life estate with our home. It would provide us with an immediate tax advantage, allow us to continue to enjoy the use of our home for the rest of our lives, and provide opportunities for the college when we are gone. Mike and I hope you will join us in the college's 150 for the 150th program to help Augie plan for its future so it may continue to give students an experience for a lifetime." — Elaine Aiken '74 Seevers |
