Most of the information and photos found on the sesquicentennial web pages are from Augustana College Special Collections. Please contact Special Collections for more information on a particular photo or story. Special Collections holds much archival material on the history of Augustana College and is a good resource for historical information and documents about Augustana College.
Those interested in a general history of Augustana might consult two useful books:

President Bergendoff's book is available at the Thomas Tredway Library, call number LD271.A665 B4 1969, and a reprint is on sale at the Augustana bookstore. President Tredway's book is also available at the library and from the bookstore.
Online resources about Augustana history:
- The Observer, Augustana's student newspaper,is available online. The paper, which began in 1902, is an excellent resource for learning about campus culture and events.
- Those interested in historical photos of Augustana may explore Special Collections's Flickr page. This site provides a sampling of the historical photos held in Special Collections. Most of the photos on the Flickr site are related to Augustana College history.
