Alpha Phi Omega (APO)

Alpha Phi Omega is a national coeducational service fraternity dedicated to the principles of leadership, friendship, and service.

APO has chapters on more than 300 campuses and is the largest college based service organization in the world. Members volunteer for many Quad City Area organizations and take part in various social activities.

Augustana Circle K International

Circle K International is a collegiate service organization with a worldwide membership that promotes fellowship, leadership, and service. Although each Circle K is sponsored by a Kiwanis club, college and university students govern the organization on all levels. Our mission is to develop college and university students into responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to serving the community.

During the academic year the Augustana College Escort Service operates a van which provides safe transportation for students on and around the campus.

Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon supports the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network. Programs throughout the year, as well as our major marathon event, raise financial and emotional support for children and families treated at the Children’s Hospital. In years past, Dance marathon has funded computers, video games, therapy toys, pediatric waiting room equipment and most recently the hospital’s fish tank program.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha International (ESA)

Epsilon Sigma Alpha is an international service sorority, which involves many service projects and the social aspects of a sorority. ESA has two international projects; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Easter Seals. Around the Quad Cities, the women of Psi Theta Chapter are very involved with helping the Children’s Therapy Center and Friendship Manor.

Annually, a Halloween party at the Children’s Therapy Center is thrown for all the children. With an atmosphere of mutual support and companionship, membership in ESA provides a variety of fun, educational, and exciting social opportunities.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity works with the Quad City affiliate of Habitat for Humanity to build houses in the Quad City Area and to raise awareness about homelessness. The group also performs community service and numerous fundraising activities.
