Augustana Boy's Basketball Camp 2008

Day Camps:

June 9 - 12, Grades 2 -6

June 16 - 19, Grades 7 - 11

June 23 - 26, Grades 2 - 6

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Cost $150.00 per week

  • Fee includes camp t-shirt, awards/contests, regulation-size camp ball
  • Developmental camp for youngsters wishing to improve in all phases of the game
  • Campers will be divided into divisions according to age and ability
  • Each division will have games and individual contests
  • Each camper will need to dress in shorts, t-shirt, socks and basketball shoes
  • Campers will need to bring sack lunches each day. Beverages will be sold

9:00 - 9.15 a.m. Roll call
9.15 - 10:00 a.m. Team organization
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Lecture/breakdown
11:00 - noon Stations/fundamentals
noon - 1:00 p.m. Lunch
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Team organization
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Contests/games
3:00 - 3.30 p.m. Games
3.30 - 4:00 p.m. Closing

Shooting Camp Grades 2 - 11

Lecture/Drills/Competition

Cost $75.00 (Campers must bring own lunch)

Fundamental Skills Camp Grades 2 - 11

Saturday, June 21, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

8:30-9:00 a.m. Registration

Cost $75.00 (Campers must bring own lunch)

Fees include camp t-shirt, awards/contests, and regulation size camp ball

  • Intensive camp for all players interested in improving position skills
  • Breakdown of skill development for point guards, forwards and post players
  • Drill work to take home for self improvement

 

You'll learn the fundamentals :

  • Shooting, ball handling, passing, and dribbling
  • Position play
  • Rebounding
  • Defense
