Historical Sketch
The Automobile Lodge in East Moline was an Odd Fellow Lodge and it merged with the Swedish Olive Lodge at the end of the 1940s. From the material in this collection, it is not clear when the Automobile Lodge was founded. The main function of the lodge was to provide financial assistance to members when ill and unable to work. The lodge also provided benefits to beneficiaries of deceased members.
