A manuscript John Delaney co-authored with Martin Coe (Western Illinois University) has been awarded a Certificate of Merit in the annual manuscript competition sponsored by Strategic Finance Magazine. The manuscript, "The Impact of Certifications on Accounting Education," was published in the July 2008 edition of Strategic Finance. The award was presented at the annual meeting of the Institute of Management Accountants June 9, 2009 in Denver. Strategic Finance is published by the Institute of Management Accountants.
Erin Stoffel and Ian Harrington traveled with two students to the MidBrains Undergraduate Neuroscience Conference at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. Both students, Taylor Popopanni and Jim Clinton, made presentations of their Senior Inquiry projects. Taylor's project was supervised by Dr. Stoffel, whereas Jim's project was supervised by Dan Corts.
