Christie Anderson Goes to Chicago
Christie Anderson, CVR Program Associate, announced her resignation last week. Christie will be attending the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago beginning in Fall '09 to pursue a Masters of Divinity in hopes of being ordained as an ELCA pastor. Christie notes that this exciting adventure comes with the counterpoint regret that this is her final year at Augustana.
She says, "It has been a joy to serve as the Program Associate for the past three years. I have loved journeying with Augustana's students as they explore who they are called to be. It has been a pleasure to work with all of my colleagues at Augustana. I am grateful for your support, encouragement and partnership along the way. I would not be equipped or inspired to take this next step without Augustana and its people."
Christie plans to conclude her career at Augustana sometime in mid-July. A farewell reception will be scheduled in the near future.
