In the second inning Myles Kurnick (Buffalo Grove HS, Arlington Heights, Ill.) led off with a walk and went to second on a single by Kevin Schuetz (St. Charles North HS, St. Charles, Ill.). Aaron Hopson’s (Rockford Boylan HS, Rockford, Ill.) ball was misplayed in the infield and Wagle scored with Izzo going to third. Kurnick’s sacrifice fly plated Izzo for the third run of the inning.
In the four run seventh the big blow was a two run single by Ramos and Augustana benefitted from a passed ball and a wild pitch.
Schuetz led the offense with three hits while Ramos and Izzo each had two. Ramos collected three RBI in the game.
