Peter Kivisto's book Key Ideas in Sociology has just been translated into Turkish, with the title translated as Sosyolojinin Temel Kavramlari (Andara: Birlesik, 2008). The book was translated by Ihsan Capcioglu and Sefer Yavuz.
Peter's recently published essay on the flight of Finnish Americans to Soviet Karelia in the 1930s that was reported in the newsletter last fall has been published in a Russian language version in Proceedings of Petrozavodsk State University, No. 3 (95), October 2008.
