Assistant Coaches

Leann Barber

Barber, LeannLeann Barber, a 2005 graduate of Augustana with a major in sociology, joined the coachings staff in the fall of 2006. At Augustana, Barber was a member of the softball team where she earned four varsity letters. Barber had an outstanding career with the Vikings, earning all-conference first team honors in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin as a catcher her junior and senior years and as a first baseman her sophomore year. Along with her All-CCIW recognition she was a member of the NCAA All-Great Lakes Region first team as a senior and third team as a sophomore and junior. In her junior season she helped lead Augustana to its first ever CCIW championship and an appearance in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional where the Vikings placed third. Barber also finds herself in a number of career top ten categories, such as at-bats, hits, doubles, homeruns, RBI, and career batting average. Barber is a graduate of Moline High School in Moline, Illinois where she played volleyball and softball for four years. She also serves as an assistant coach in softball during the spring.

Jeff Dolan

Dolan, JeffJeff Dolan will be starting his third year as an assistant coach. Dolan is a 1995 graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where he was a player and coach of the club volleyball team for four years. Dolan also served time as an assistant coach for the Loras women's volleyball team, acting as the hitting and blocking coach. He would go on to further his education at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and received his M.P.A in Public Administration in 2003. Dolan now resides in Davenport, Iowa where he lives with his wife Tracy and their children: sons Alex and Josh and daughter Mattea.

Kelly Kelley

Kelley, KellyKelly Kelley joins the Augustana volleyball staff as the setter's coach in 2007. A native of the Quad Cities, Kelley went to North Scott High School in Eldridge, Iowa and then went on to enjoy an outstanding collegiate career at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. An outstanding setter, she ended her career ranked second on the Bulldogs all-time list for assists. She was also ranked among the career leaders in assists average, service aces per game and career service aces. She was an all-conference and all-regional selection. She has coached at Davenport North High School and North Scott Junior High. She resides in Bettendorf with her husband Chad and son Liam and she works as an elementary school counselor in Long Grove, Iowa.
