Colleagues interested in attending the 2009 SENCER Institute in Chicago should contact Jeff Abernathy.
The 2009 SENCER Summer Institute will offer participants a rich mix of plenary and concurrent sessions on improving science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Intensive half-day workshops during the Institute program will allow attendees to focus on areas of particular interest in small group settings with experts. The program will be directed to both participants who have attended a SENCER event in the past and those who are new to the approach. Harold Washington College, located in the midst of downtown Chicago, will host the Institute, and SENCER is planning several optional activities to help participants take advantage of the culture of the city. To learn more about the goals, themes, and activities of the Institute and how to apply, please visit the SSI 2009 page.
