	Jungnickel earns All-CCIW recognition Augustana junior outside hitter Courtney Jungnickel has been named to the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin all-conference volleyball team for the 2009 season. Jungnickel, who was an honorable mention selection in both 2007 and 2008, was named to the second team and was the lone Viking honored.
	Season ends in loss at North Central A 3-1 loss to second seeded North Central ended the 2009 volleyball season for Augustana on Tuesday, November 3 in Naperville, Illinois in the first round of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin tournament. The Cardinals won the first two sets by scores of 25-20 and 25-16 before the Vikings rallied and took the third set 25-21.
	Jungnickel all-tournament at IWU Augustana junior outside hitter Courtney Jungnickel earned all-tournament recognition this weekend at Illinois Wesleyan's Barker Chevrolet Classic. However, despite Jungnickel's efforts, the Vikings dropped all four of their matches in the tournament and now stand at 11-20 on the year.
	Viking fall on the road The Augustana volleyball team was unable to snap a three-match losing streak Tuesday night at North Central, falling on the road to the red-hot Cardinals in three games. The Vikings dropped the opening game 25-19 before losing 25-18 and 25-14.
	Senior night ends in loss to Bluejays A senior night farewell to Rachel Uhrig, Bridget Reich and Mallory Thelander didn't quite go the way the Vikings would have liked it in the Carver Center on Tuesday, October 20. Augustana dropped a 3-0 decision to Elmhurst in College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin action.
