	2011-12 WOMEN'S TENNIS REVIEW The Augustana women's tennis team wrapped up its fall season with a fourth place finish at the College Conference of Illinois Wisconsin tournament on October 7-8 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The top four finish means the Vikings will play in the spring for the right to move on to the NCAA Division III national tournament.
	Sawyer, Reece earn All-CCIW recognition Kim Sawyer, who finished second at number one singles at the 2011 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Women's Tennis Championship, has been named to the all-conference first team. Teammate Brittany Reece, who finished fourth at number two singles, was a second team selection.
	Vikings fourth; Sawyer second at CCIW Behind Kim Sawyer's second-place finish at number one singles, the Augustana women's tennis team took fourth place at the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Championship which concluded Saturday. Sawyer, a sophomore, fell 6-1 and 6-2 to Wheaton's Elizabeth Worsowicz in her attempt to claim the top flight singles title.
	Vikings finish CCIW first day in third place Led by the performance of number one singles player Kim Sawyer, Augustana is in third place after the first day of competition at the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin women's tennis championship on Friday, October 7. The Vikings scored 24 points and trail host Carthage by just four points in the race for second place.
	Vikings take down Knox while Reece and Sawyer compete in ITA's While Brittany Reece (Neuqua Valley HS, Naperville, Ill.) and Kim Sawyer (Batavia HS, Batavia, Ill.) participated in the ITA tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the rest of the Augustana women's tennis team took down Knox in a 7-2 dual match victory on Friday, September 30 to move to 7-6 on the season.
