He tied for the Viking team lead this year with a pair of assists and scored one goal as well. | |
Vikings close season with loss at ElmhurstElmhurst's Mikey Emig scored twice in the second half Saturday to give Elmhurst a 3-1 win over Augustana. The loss brings to an end the Vikings' 2012 season. They finish 6-9-3 overall and 2-4-1 in the CCIW. The Bluejays close the year at 9-10 overall and 1-6 in the conference. | |
Wheaton defeats Vikings to stay atop CCIWWheaton's Stephen Golz scored a back-breaking goal with less than a minute to play in the first half and the Thunder went on to a 3-0 win over Augustana Wednesday night at Joe Bean Stadium. Wheaton moves to 13-3-2 overall and stays atop the CCIW standings at 5-0-1. The Vikings fall to 6-8-3 overall and 2-3-1 in the league. |
