	Six Vikings named All-CCIW The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin announced its 2009 all-conference football team today and six Augustana Vikings, including five seniors, were honored. Senior offensive tackle Blaine Westemeyer led a trio of Augustana first teamers while three more Vikings earned second team recognition.
	David Lee named Player of the Week again After erasing a legendary name from the Augustana record books last Saturday, sophomore quarterback David Lee has been named the "Offensive Player of the Week" in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin. Lee passed for 422 yards in a 42-13 victory over Millikin on Saturday, November 14 to break the school record of 410 that was held by former NFL MVP Ken Anderson.
	Lee's record 422 yards spark Vikings to win For the second week in a row, Augustana sophomore quarterback David Lee has supplanted former NFL MVP Ken Anderson in the school's record book. After breaking Anderson's single-game record for completions last week, Lee threw for 422 yards Saturday afternoon, sparking a 42-13 win over Millikin.
	Vikings head to Millikin for season finale The Augustana Vikings will try to finish the 2009 football season on a winning note with a game against Millikin in Decatur, Illinois on Saturday, November 14. Currenty, Augustana is 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin.
	Despite Lee's record day, Vikings fall Things were looking up for the Augustana Vikings when they took a 20-17 lead with just 30 seconds left in the first half of Saturday's game against North Central. However, the Cardinals came right back, going 60 yards in just two plays, capped by a back-breaking 46-yard Aaron Fanthorpe to Steve Hlavac touchdown pass with six seconds left in the half to regain the lead, 24-20. North Central went on to ride the huge momentum swing to a 45-26 win.
