	Augustana moves to 2-0 with win over Beloit After jumping out to a 17-point halftime lead, Augustana had to withstand a second-half run by Beloit which got the Buccaneers to within two points with 5:09 left in the game. However, the Vikings were able to re-establish control in the last five minutes and escape with a 66-53 win.
	Vikings weather the Storm 58-53 Sophomore guard Troy Rorer keyed a 14-1 run early in the second half Monday to pull Augustana from an 11-point deficit to a 46-44 lead, its first of the night, over visiting Simpson. It was a lead the Vikings never relinquished as they hung on for a 58-53 victory over the pesky Storm.
	CCIW Coaches Pick Augustana for Second Coach Grey Giovanine's 2009-10 Augustana Vikings have been picked to finish second in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin in a poll by the league's eight men's head basketball coaches. Defending champion Wheaton was picked for first with 46 total points, seven ahead of the Vikings' 39.
	Vikings seek fourth CCIW title in five years In 2009-10 Augustana will be looking to return to its perch atop the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin standings. The Vikings went 18-8 in 2008-09, finishing third in the league with a 9-5 record and ending a string of three consecutive outright conference titles from 2005-06 to 2007-08.
