Paper Assignments
You will need to complete 4 paper assignments during the course of the term, due on the dates indicated on the syllabus. Each paper is to include the following:
1. An outline of the paper
a. Sufficient to determine you have read and understood the paper.
b. Use this format
i. Outline (no more than 2 pages)
1. Literature review or introduction
2. Methods
3. Discussion
4. Conclusions, application and/or future research
2. Your own abstract (no more than 1 page)
1. Not replication of author abstract
2. Focus on
a. Evaluating the research
b. Why did they do what they did?
c. What did they do?
d. What did they conclude?
3. Your own evaluative conclusions
3. Grading
a. The outline will be reviewed by the PA to determine whether you have reasonably completed the assignment worth 5 points
b. Your abstract will be worth 15 points
Please remember the rules about plagiarism (intentional or not) and
academic dishonesty and how that may affect your grade in this course.

Lifting
phrases without quotation and reference constitutes plagiarism, and there will
not likely be any need for quotes in this assignment

Collaborating
with others unless part of the assignment is considered academic dishonesty.
