While I was at Iowa State University, I was a member of the swim team for four years (which means that I am a die-hard Cyclone fan).  Currently I am interested in triathlons and am a member of the Quad Cities Triathlon Club and the Corn Belt Running Club

I am also a member of the Young Professionals Network, which is an organization in the Quad Cities to get young people in the area connected on a social and professional basis.  If you are a young professional in the Quad Cities between the ages of 21 and 39, I would highly recommend joining!  If you are still in college, there is also the Emerging Professionals Network, which is a great way for college students to network and find internships.

One of the things that really enjoy doing is hiking and backpacking.  Below are some picture of some of the trips that I've been on.  The first two pictures are from Joshua Tree National Park in California and are with two of my friends from Iowa State.  The third picture is from when my friend Eric and I went backpacking in southeast Missouri.

I also have two cats.  Truman (named after the University of Missouri-Columbia mascot, Truman the Tiger) is the gray tabby and Cy (named after Iowa State University's mascot, the Cyclone) is the white medium-haired cat.  They are cute, but definitely a handful!
