He was married to Anna Britta Larsdotter (daughter of Lars Helgeson and Stina Greta Carlsdotter) on 10 Oct 1874 in Batavia, IL.⁽¹⁵⁵⁾ The marriage record has the names as Anders Bengtsson and Anna Britta Larsson. At the time of marriage, Lars and Stina were from vestra Hed. Lars was a Tjanste (lowly?) farmhand and Stina was a maidservant. Anna Britta Larsdotter ^{(156)(102) (157)} was born on 8 Aug 1845 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. She immigrated in 1873 to to America. She died on 21 Mar 1907. In 1862 she moved to Kantabur and then in 1865 to Kloskift. The next year she moved back to Kantabur, and the year after that to Jerlö No. 3. In July of 1870 she moved to Ö in Ä lan.
