23. Petronella Bengtsdotter was born on 16 Sep 1824 in Drared, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. She was baptized on 17 Sep 1824. Men sponsors were Johan Berndt Andersson and Lars Larson from Drared. Women sponsors were Bö Bö and Bö Pehrsdotter from Drared. Mother's age at birth was 33.

She was married to Johannes Johansson on 4 Jul 1851 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden.⁽¹⁰⁵⁾ Johannes was from No 1 Syllinge and Petronella was from No. 3 Kvarnome. Ages at marriage were 24 and 26, respectively. The couple left Veddige on their marriage date and went to Lindberg, a nearby parish in Halland. Johannes Johansson was born on 27 May 1827 in in ö Syllinge. ⁽¹⁰⁶⁾ Johannes was conceived by his mother while she was married to Johannes Bengtsson of ö. Syllinge. However, her husband died March 12, 1827, just ten weeks before her son was born. Thus the birth record lists his mother, Anna Greta Nilsdoter, as a widow and does not indicate a father. Witnesses were Olof Svensson and Berndt Olsson of ö Syllinge and Gunnild Bengtsdotter and Anna Borgesdotter of ö Syllinge. He was baptized on 29 May 1827 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. Johannes never knew his biological father, Johannes Bengtsson. When he was four years old, his mother Anna Greta married his step father Johannes Andersson on November 6, 1831. He grew up with his mother and step father in ö Syllinge.
