136. Må Swensson was born in Mar 1714 in Sweden. He died on 3 Sep 1783 in Backen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden. (238) Må was one of several dozen people who died in a few months time in 1783 of Rö, or dysentary. He was 69 years old. He was buried on 7 Sep 1783. The family owned a Bible. For many years (from at least 1752) Må and his family lived in Backen, Istorp.

137. Karin Andersdoter was born on 27 Oct 1721 in Ekarabo, Istorp, Ä, Sweden.(239) She died on 14 Oct 1770 in Backen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden. Cause of death is listed as rö (dysentary). Age at death is incorrectly listed as 33, but it should be about 51. She was buried on 28 Oct 1770. She was baptized. Witnesses included Elin Carlsdoter, Kyrstin Marterdotter, (?) Andersson, Erich Andersson from Torse. (??) This whole entry is highly suspect as Karin is listed in household accounts as being born in 1719. The entries from this period are largely illegible, and try as I might I cannot be sure who was born in 1719. Toward the end of her life, Karin became deaf. Children were:

child i. Kirstin Må was born on 9 Aug 1747 in Sweden. She died on 15 Oct 1781 in Unnebo, Istorp, Ä, Sweden.(240) Cause of death is given as rö (dysentary). Age at death was 34. She was buried on 21 Oct 1781.
child ii. Sara Må was born on 19 Apr 1749 in Sweden. She died on 12 Jun 1775 in Backen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden.(241) Cause of death is listed as Lungsot (pneumonia?). Age at death was 26. She was buried on 18 Jun 1775.
