68. Anders Må was born on 7 Dec 1754 in Backen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden. (197) He was baptized on 8 Dec 1754. Witnesses included Lars Jö, Jon Jö from Gubbelyck(?), Bö Swensdoter from Torse, and Ingri Bengtsdoter. He died on 5 Nov 1811 in Sorgedalen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden. (198) Cause of death is listed as fever. Anders was listed as "undantag" along with his wife in Sorgedalen at time of death in the household accounts of 1810. He was buried on 10 Nov 1811. By 1801 Anders and his wife Inga Caisa lived in Sorgedalen. Pigan Annika Nilsdoter (born 1760) lived in their household from (at least) 1801 to 1804 as inhus. In 1807 son Anders is listed as å, and in 1808 this son is listed as the head of the household. He was married to Inga Caisa Andersdotter on 27 Dec 1778 in Istorp, Ä, Sweden.

69. Inga Caisa Andersdotter was born on 28 Jan 1754 in Istorp, Ä, Sweden.(199) She was baptized on 30 Jan 1754. Birth name is given as Inga Caisa Skaren. Father Anders Skaren is listed as Lä, a sergeant in a district (or liegeman, or vassal). Witnesses include an Adjuncten Hans Strö, (?) Johanes Aurelius Borge Andersson from Strö and wife(?) Karin(?) Larsdoter, Anna Cathr. Bergman, and Ingri Bö, all from illegible place names. She died on 22 May 1836 in Sorgedalen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden.(200) Her age at death was given as 81 years, 9 months, 10 days. She was buried on 29 May 1836 in Istorp, Ä, Sweden. Children were:

child i. Carl Andersson was born on 28 Jun 1779 in Backen, Istorp, Ä, Sweden. (201) He was baptized on 29 Jun 1779. Witnesses included Soldaten Fagerberg and farmhand Bö Andersson from Backen, wife Kerstin Må and maiden Ingrid Jonsdotter from Backen. Carl left his parents household in Sorgedalen in 1802, but returned in 1806.
