38. Carl Magnus Bö ⁽¹⁵¹⁾ was born on 12 Apr 1764 in Sjö, Ä, Sweden.^{(152) (153)} One source for the birth place of Carl Magnus is the certificate of transfer from Ö to Veddige dated March 10, 1793. The note is difficult to read. Carl was born in Sjö, Tranemo (parishes to the Northwest of Veddige î Ä lan). Probably, Tranemo was the harad and Sjö was the actual place of birth. Transcription errors in the household accounts give his birth year (only) as 1765, then 1762, then 1768. He was baptized on 15 Apr 1764 in Sjö, Ä, Sweden. Witnesses included Anders Jö from Sä, Johan Andersson from Abborhult (?), wife Britta Andersdotter and wife Britta Eljasdotter, both from Sä. He died on 6 Jun 1823 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁵⁴⁾ Cause of death is given as 'hå,' or some sort of sharp, rheumatory pain. He was buried on 15 Jun 1823 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. The certificate of transfer from Ö to Veddige indicates that Carl could read out of a book, and was honest and nice. It possibly also says that Carl moved from Sjö (Tranemo) to Ö in 1786. The certificate is dated March 10, 1793, and Carl's marriage to Stina Greta took place in 1794. Even though only the year is given for his date of birth, that year does match up with later records. Furthermore, the marriage record indicates that he was from Ö. Thus I am reasonably confident that the certificate of transfer actually refers to my ancestor. He was married to Anna Brita Bö on 28 Dec 1794 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden.⁽¹⁵⁵⁾ Carl was from Ö and Anna Brita was from vestra Hed.

39. Anna Brita Bö was born on 22 Oct 1775 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. Witnesses were Cristian Bengtsson and Carl Esbiorsson of vestra Hed, also Carl Nilsson of ö Hed, Martha Larsdoter, wife (?) Cristensdoter of vestra Hed, also Annica Lidberg of Veddige. She was baptized on 23 Oct 1775 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁵⁶⁾ She died on 28 Nov 1840 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁵⁷⁾ Although the month and year are certain, the day is hard to read. Age at death is given as 65 years, 1 month, 6 days. She was buried on 5 Dec 1840 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. Although the month and year are certain, the day is hard to read. Beginning with the household accounts of 1830, Anna Britta was listed as brä, or infirm. She remained in vestra Hed, listed as undantag, after her son-in-law Lars and her daughter Stina Greta moved to Loberg. Children were:

i. Brita Lena Carlsdoter was born on 17 Jan 1799 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. She was baptized on 18 Jan 1799.⁽¹⁵⁸⁾ Men witnesses were Olaus Bö and Hå På from vestra Hed. Women witnesses were Elin Nilsdoter and Gunnel Swensdoter from Ö Hed. Also listed as Britta Lena Carl Magnidotter at time of marriage.

iii. Anna Brita Carlsdoter⁽¹⁵⁹⁾ was born on 26 Feb 1804 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁶⁰⁾ Witnesses were Gunne Jacobsson from Kå and Hå På from vestra Hed, Ingebor Andersdoter from ö hed and Johanna Andersdoter from Kå. She was baptized on 27 Feb 1804 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. An utflyttade record has pigan Anna Brita Carl Magnusdotter leaving Veddige on October 25, 1825, because of plans to marry Bengt Jö, but this entry has a line through it. The utflyttade record dated February 16, 1826, has her actually leaving Veddige for Skä, a parish in Halland, and that the reason for leaving was her marriage to Bengt Jonsson from Attarp, Skä.
iv. Kerstin Carlsdoter⁽¹⁶¹⁾ was born on 27 Jan 1811 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁶²⁾ Men witnesses were Olaf Anderson and Anders Svensson from vestra Hed. Women witnesses were Anna Torkelsdoter and Johanna Bö from vestra Hed. She was baptized on 28 Jan 1811 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. Kerstin left Veddige for Grimmared on October 27, 1829.
v. Joh. Berndt Carlsson⁽¹⁶³⁾ was born on 25 Jan 1814 in vestra Hed, Veddige, Halland, Sweden. ⁽¹⁶⁴⁾ Witnesses were Hå På and Berndt swensson of vestra Hed, Edla Britta Bö of Stengå and Helena Bö of vestra Hed. He was baptized on 26 Jan 1814 in Veddige, Halland, Sweden. One household account (1830-1835) has his name as Joh. Berndt Carl Magnusson. An utflyttade record shows that he left Veddige for Grimmared (perhaps to join his sister?) in 1838. At that time he was not married, and the pastor indicated that he did not have good character.
