The 2009 Tri-State Undergraduate Psychology Conference will be held Oct. 31 at Augustana College, Rock Island. The conference will include speakers, a student poster session and graduate information fair.
Keynote:
Dr. John Skowronski will give the keynote address entitled “There and Back Again: Journeys on the Road of Psychological Science.” Dr. Skowronski, a 1977 graduate of Augustana College, is a social psychologist from Northern Illinois University. For more information about him, see his web page.
Registration:
In order to assure adequate facilities for all attendees, student participants are asked to register for the conference in advance. The deadline for registration is October 23rd. The registration form is here.
The $7 registration fee can be paid by mail or in person on the morning of the conference. The fee is waived for faculty members who are accompanying students.
If you would like to pay the registration fee in advance, send a check payable to Augustana College to the attention of Sheri Stoneburner, Dept. of Psychology, 639 38th St., Rock Island, Ill., 61201. The deadline for pre-registration is 4 p.m. Oct. 23.
