The Swenson Center
publishes an occasional newsletter, Swenson Center News. The Newsletter includes information about what is going on
at the Center, as well as general interest articles on various Swedish-American topics. Swenson
Center News is available to anyone interested, free of charge. Past
issues have been scanned and are available to view here.
We also have the
first and the sixth of our O. Fritiof Ander Lectures in Immigration History available for
purchase:
The first lecture was given by John Bodnar in 1988 and is entitled Collective Memory and Ethnic Groups: The Case of Swedes, Mennonites, and
Norwegians. Collective Memory is available for $2.00, including postage.
Dr. Nils William
Olsson presented the sixth Ander lecture, Naming Patterns among Swedish-
Americans, in 1994. The cost is $2.00, including postage.
Guide to the Swenson
Center's microfilm holdings of Swedish-American newspapers (and a few Swedish-Canadian
papers), for $1.50 including postage. This Guide can also be viewed online
here.
