SGA Committees:
Campus Improvements
Some amenities that the Campus Improvements Committee helped bring to the campus include the e-mail kiosks in the College Center , and the fax machine and duplex printers in Olin. The committee also initiates the little, but important things like having lights fixed and adding extra benches or railing for safety.
Student Activities Liaison
The Student Activities Liaison Committee has the ever exciting job of working with the Augustana students and student organizations and organizing various events for the entire campus.
Campus Community
The Campus Community Committee is devoted to fostering relationships between the Augustana community and the Quad City community at large. It does so by arranging local service opportunities for Augustana students and enhancing the Augustana rapport with area businesses.
Administrative Liaison
The Administrative Liaison Committee has the tedious, but extremely important job of reading through the various SGA constitutions and Augustana policies ensuring that everything is updated, applicable and appropriate for the student body. The committee also meets with various members of the administrative staff to discuss student issues and concerns in hopes of finding a solution for such concerns.
Public Relations
This committee's charge includes, but is not limited to the following: promoting SGA events; promoting voting; informing students of SGA activities and changes; gathering information from students in regards of opinions on specific issues and changes they would like to see.
