The Augustana Student Government Association (SGA) would like to welcome you to our updated website. The purpose of this site is to encourage communication between the students, the administration, and the community at large. In the year ahead, SGA wants to give the sentiments of Augustana students a voice, and we have added resources on this website to ensure that we can hear opinions and take actions.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with your views on events and issues that relate to our campus and community. In order to secure funds, student groups are encouraged to fill out the SGA contingency application, found here. We would also like to invite visitors to our weekly meetings, held every Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the College Center Board Room. In the “News and Events” section, speakers, weekly meetings, and forums will be listed so that the Augustana community can actively participate. Please contact us for more details.
SGA's 2008-2009 Executive Board values the accomplishments of its campus. We are looking to aid the Augustana community in achieving larger goals and we are more than willing to help any of our constituents gain knowledge on campus issues. By keeping constant communication with the student body, we will create a unified influence that will be heard by Augustana's faculty, administration, and community at large.
