Students can join by fulfilling the following requirements and paying a membership fee of $30.

  • Complete 12 credit hours in history
  • Maintain a GPA in history courses of 3.1 or higher
  • Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Rank in top 35% of the class

Membership is open to all students meeting requirements,
but Phi Alpha Theta is comprised mostly of history majors.
