Erickson hall Council programs quality educational and social activities for the residents of Erickson Hall. It also acts as the halls governing body, seeking to provide a unified and friendly atmosphere within the residence hall.

Planning and Sponsoring Social and Educational Programs Within the Hall
In the past, Erickson Hall has sponsored activities such as the Dating Game, pizza parties, movies, hall Jeopardy, cookouts, euchre tournaments, hall dances, pool tournaments, chubby bunny contests, Christmas floor decorating contests, an alcohol awareness party, and Augiepalooza, a quad party with local bands to entertain.
Erickson hall council has brought together the members of the hall through their improvements. They have worked together to get new carpeting for the basement recreational area, improved the study rooms, and bought new movies for the residents to rent and enjoy.
Serving as a Unified Voice in the Augustana Community
Erickson hall Council provides the hall with an opportunity for residents to talk about what kind of changes they would like to see in the hall and allows them to take part in those changes. Erickson hall council also elects representatives from the hall to be a part of Resident Hall Association, the unified hall governing body. Residents are also encourages to join in intramural activities, homecoming activities, and all-hall campus activities.
Any resident of Erickson Hall is encouraged to participate in Erickson Hall Council at any time. Elections for officers are held in the spring.
