Darwin Day (Feburary 12, Charles Darwin's birthday) is an international celebration of science in humanity. The goal of Darwin Day is to recognize the life and works of Darwin and to celebrate and discuss the philosophical and scientific significance of evolutionary biology. With the inception of the Darwin Club, Augustana first began celebrating Darwin Day in 2002. This year's celebration has been expanded into an entire week due to an overwhelmingly positive response in past years.
