Configuration Directions
Are you on-campus or off-campus?
The configuration instructions are for student computers connected to the campus network only. This includes Andreen, Arbaugh, Erickson, Naeseth, Parkander, Seminary, Swanson, and Westerlin halls. All other campus-owned residence areas are connected to the internet through Mediacom, and no special configuration is required. You may want to create a shortcut to the e-mail login page, http://my.augustana.edu.
Before you begin
These instructions begin with the understanding that your PC is already equipped with an Ethernet adapter. The configuration instructions can be completed without a network connection; however, you may not receive the network prompts shown. If you experience difficulties, contact the Student Computing Coordinator, Wendy Ramsdale at (309) 794-8092 or the ITS Helpdesk at (309) 794-7293.
