American Chemical Society (ACS)

This nationally affiliated society helps familiarize students with chemistry careers, special areas of interest within the field, and current news. Activities include a Chemistry Open House during National Chemistry Week, performing chemical demonstrations at local grade schools, speakers on topics of interest, field trips to local sites of interest concerning chemistry, pizza parties, picnics, and barbecues.
