For Jewish and Muslim Students

Augustana is committed to interfaith conversation and promoting religious diversity on campus, as part of the Five Faith Commitments. The Interfaith Group composed of students, faculty and staff meets regularly to generate a dialogue around issues of tolerance, understanding and clarification. By learning about beliefs other than our own, we also come to find out more about faith as we know it. Campus Ministries is devoted to providing a thoughtful and engaged campus regarding issues of religious faith. Advisors are available to help Jewish and Muslim students find a home for worship in the Quad Cities, explore new ways of educating the campus about their faith, and continue to grow in their own personal faith.

Augustana Hillel

Augustana Hillel is devoted to promoting cultural diversity, raising awareness of the Jewish faith and culture, and developing a Jewish community on the Augustana campus and beyond. As a "Small and Mighty" program, supported by the Soref Initiative, Augustana is affiliated with the national organization: Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life and has access to guidance, financial assistance, online resources, and a communication network for Jewish students and faculty advisors.
