HISTORICAL NOTE

Like Augustana College, Gustavus Adolphus College is also a small, liberal arts college of Swedish and Lutheran heritage located in Minnesota. The Gustavus Adolphus Club was formed at Augustana Seminary on October 15, 1911. All students of Gustavus Adolphus were automatically eligible for membership. The club occupied itself by hosting receptions for visiting Gustavus Adolphus students, such as the basketball team or the chorus, as well as any G.A. alumni in the area.

SCOPE AND CONTENT

The Gustavus Adolphus Club records is a small collection consisting only of a bound book of club minutes from 1911-1916.
