Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
EHS MISSION STATEMENT:
The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for employees, students and visitors, and safeguarding the environment consistent with regulatory mandates and the academic and research goals of Augustana College. The Office of EHS reports to the Director of Facilities and promotes a cultural environment of shared responsibility within the college community that will effectively identify hazards and manage the associated risks. To aid in this effort, the Office of EHS offers a comprehensive program that incorporates chemical and occupational safety programs, as well as guidance in achieving regulatory compliance.
The EHS office is located in room 147 on the first floor of Sorenson Hall, next to the CEC.
